Premier Soccer is proud to announce the schedule of it's 2011 Summer Academy Teams. The goal of the Academy is to provide a professional, residential type of training environment, the main feature being training of the highest level to prepare players to compete at the highest level - all of which amounts to the most comprehensive summer soccer program in the Northeast.

The Academy will be based at the outstanding United Sports Training Center Facility in Downingtown, PA. An added feature is that USTC is also the home training facility of the Women's Professional Soccer team, the Philadelphia Independence. During the summer weeks, Students will be able to observe the Independence train, meet the players and get an extremely rare first-hand insight into what it takes to be a professional soccer player, so Academy training sessions will mirror the same techniques and tactics that help develop WNT players such Heather Mitts, Amy Rodriguez, Lori Lindsey and the rest of the Independence players.
The Premier Soccer Academy Teams will have tryouts in March, then will start the Academy season off with a week long Academy Team camp, will train in June and July and compete in 4 premier summer tournaments. Each academy player receives a full Adidas academy uniform and will receive a Philadelphia Independence game ticket! The team is comprised of players from all over Pennsylvania and the Northeast and provides an opportunity for serious soccer players looking to continue improving and competing over the summer months.
